Advisory Leadership Council

Because the Kentucky Department of Education previously identified Harrison Elementary as a school in need of Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), the authority granted under state law to the School-Based Decision Making Council (SBDM) was suspended and transferred to the superintendent. While Harrison has successfully earned its way out of CSI status, it still has an Advisory Leadership Team instead of SBDM, and the district will maintain control until the school's turnaround plan is complete to ensure continuation of additional support and resources.
